Texture Rigging and MEL

This was an interesting experiment in learning MEL. I wanted to make a panel of lights that would individually sample color information from a texture. After learning a bunch of new stuff I got the concept to work. A 3D rig which turns any images I feed it into a panel of lights. Mind each of the 1840 individual element displays only one color at a time...As a test video, I used a sample from the 2008 Olympic games... This same concept can be used in creating Christmas lights, large display grids, and just about anything that needs individually colored elements... More to come with this.
